Red Shoe Fund

"The journey of a thousand miles begins with one small step". These words typify the motivation of the late Bob Baxter, founder of Baxter Structures, to help people take those critical first steps on the road to recovery after an accident.

Baxter Structures created the Red Shoe Fund in honour of Bob; his red sneakers were infamous to those who knew him, as was his generosity and sincere love and care for our clients. He always went above and beyond to support and help anyone in need and held a special place in his heart for those on the path to recovery.

The Red Shoe Fund collects donations in support of charities with similar visions and goals. Baxter’s is proud to have hosted our first Annual Golf Tournament on September 13th 2017. We enjoyed the beautiful course at Piper’s Heath Golf Club on one of the nicest days in September, with many guests crediting Bob for such knock-out weather. After the game, many guests donned their red Converse sneakers to join us for lunch.

Thanks to the support of our sponsors and generous silent (and live) auction contributors Baxter’s is thrilled to announce that we raised a total of $20,000 for our charities, The Maddie Project and The Tamara Gordon Foundation.

We would like to give a special thank you to last year’s main sponsors for showing their support and commitment to the Red Shoe Fund:
